The subject of functioning and the implementation of the ICF is increasingly gaining more attention in the Polish insurance market. In order to address the growing need to acquire knowledge in this area, the Polish Society of Medical Certification, representatives of the Polish Insurance Association and the Personal Claims Handling Dept. at PZU, a large insurance company in Poland have invited the ICF Research Branch to conduct a 2-day ICF Workshop to selected stakeholders from 24-25 April 2014.

This ICF Workshop complements the ICF training provided by the ICF Research Branch to selected staff at the Foundation Active Rehabilitation (FAR), a non-profit, EU-recognized Polish organization assisting the reintegration of persons after spinal cord injury (SCI) in Warsaw (Zegrze), Poland from 21-23 March 2012.
